Recognition

The Impact Sourcing Standard is the first globally recognized standard for the business practice of Impact Sourcing. The standard defines the minimum requirements and voluntary best practices for providers of business products and services to demonstrate their commitment to inclusive employment. The model of assurance used to verify conformance with the Standard is based on a self-assessment and second-party verification by the GISC Secretariat, where companies demonstrate that they meet the criteria required by the Impact Sourcing Standard

Reversing local migrationAnother noteworthy trend is reverse local migration. Prior to joining B2R, financial pressures coupled with the lure of corporate life attracted several young men to neighboring towns and cities even though these were typically low paying, dissatisfactory jobs. These youngsters now see a reason to stay back in their villages and even return from nearby towns, thanks to the opportunities available at B2R

Working in a professional environment and having a steady income allows B2R employees to take on greater responsibility at home and has improved the respect that they command from their peers and the family, thereby boosting their self-confidence.

Community Development

Setting up library, internet kiosk. Support garbage-cleaning drives to practice & educate on cleanliness, recycling & hygiene. Co-organize annual half-marathon to encourage physical activity & sports in rural youth.

Environment Impact

Due to favorable geographical conditions, B2R centers operate without air conditioning. Employees walk down to the offices, transportation facilities not required…+ve Carbon Impact.
